Canyonville, Oregon is another historic town located at the base of Canyon Creek Pass. It is the third oldest settlement in Oregon and was a favorite stop among miners, fur traders and early immigrants. Today it is the gateway to the South Umpqua River and many outdoor recreation activities. A favorite swimming attraction, South Umpqua Falls, is just a quick 1 hour drive east. Canyonville is also home to the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians and Seven Feathers Resort Complex. Seven Feather features concerts, special events, fine dining, casino, hotel, and RV resort.
